Wife cake is a traditional name of Han nationality in Chaozhou, Guangdong Province. There are many kinds of fillings for wife cake. This kind of wife cake uses traditional glutinous rice stuffing, with crisp outer skin and soft waxy inner stuffing


100g oilskin: low gluten flour
30g corn oil
20G sugar
40g water
70g oil skin: low gluten flour
30g corn oil
15g filling: corn oil
70g glutinous rice flour
90g water
50g sugar
15g sesame
15g coconut


Step 1
First prepare the glutinous rice stuffing: pour water, sugar and corn oil into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat

Add all the glutinous rice flour and stir well. Mix the glutinous rice flour and water completely. Turn off the heat

Add the cooked sesame and coconut, stir well, cool the stuffing thoroughly, refrigerate for one hour, and the stuffing will not stick to your hands
