It’s the first time to make chicken stewed with mushroom. It tastes good. Praise yourself! ✌️✌️


600g chicken
100g mushroom
10 g ginger
5 pieces of scallion
5 cloved garlic
Three star anise
1 pinch of Chinese prickly ash
1 segment of green onion
30 ml soy sauce
50 ml cooking wine
20G white granulated sugar
5g salt
30g vegetable oil


Step 1
After washing a Chai chicken, remove the remaining hair (you can use wine to light a fire, so that some small hairs will be burned). After washing again, chop the chicken into pieces of moderate size.

Step 2
Soak the mushrooms in boiling water. Add more water. Rinse thoroughly and set aside.

Step 3
Boil water in the pot, boil the water and then put the chicken into the pot. After changing color, take it out and flush the foam with running water. Control the water and set it aside.

Step 4
Put oil in the pot. Heat the oil and then add scallion, ginger, pepper, big sauce and garlic.

Stir fry the chicken until fragrant. The chicken is golden yellow. Add a little soy sauce and cooking wine. Continue to stir fry for a while. Add water to the pot, but no chicken.

Add water and season with salt and sugar.

Bring to a boil over high heat, add mushrooms and turn to low heat. Stew for about an hour and a half.
