This dish is our family’s conditioning and tonic meal. It’s passed down from my mother-in-law. It’s steamed with tender and less oil chicken, jujube meat, winter mushrooms and golden needle. It doesn’t lose nutrition and flavor at all. It’s very suitable for you to take tonic before, after and after pregnancy, or for men, women, young and old after illness.

Ingredients

1 / 2 chicken
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 / 2 tsp salt
1 small piece of ginger
10 jujubes (dry)
20G dry gold needle
5 dried mushrooms
1 tsp cornstarch
2 teaspoons soy sauce
Appropriate amount of water

Directions

Step 1
Soak the dried needle and dried mushroom with water in advance

Step 2
Clean half of the chicken, remove the skin and fat from the neck, and remove the bottom

Step 3
Cut the chicken into pieces. If there is excess fat under the skin, remove it by the way. Grab it with proper amount of salt, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and cornmeal

Step 4
Cut the jujube into large pieces and remove the core

Step 5
Squeeze the soaked mushrooms to dry, cut them into small pieces and put them into the bottom of the plate

Step 6
Soak the golden needle, squeeze out the water and add it to the plate. Add the red jujube meat

Step 7
Place the chicken on the three kinds of ingredients. Bring to a boil in cold water and steam over medium heat for about 20 minutes
