Every time I go to the vegetable market and see kelp with good bubble hair, I will buy some home or shred cold mix. The most common thing is to boil spareribs soup with kelp. Kelp contains a lot of iodine. Iodine is the main substance synthesized by thyroid. If the human body lacks iodine, it will suffer from “thick neck disease”, that is, hypothyroidism. Therefore, kelp is the best food for people with low thyroid function. Mannitol in kelp works synergistically with iodine, potassium and niacin to prevent and treat arteriosclerosis, hypertension, chronic tracheitis, chronic hepatitis, anemia, edema and other diseases. High quality protein and unsaturated fatty acids in kelp have certain preventive and therapeutic effects on heart disease, diabetes and hypertension.
