We like spicy Mapo Tofu in Chongqing. It goes well with two bowls of white rice. There is no minced meat to make a simple version


A piece of tender tofu
A poke of shallot
Two small spoonfuls of pepper powder
Two spoonfuls of Pixian Douban
A spoonful of soy sauce
