This season’s lettuce is really delicious, and the price is cheap and affordable. Recently, it’s cooked every three or five times. It’s eaten with sesame sauce, boiled water and pickled lettuce, or oyster sauce lettuce. The most popular one is oyster sauce lettuce. In contrast, this kind of lettuce tastes better. Lettuce with oyster sauce is a simple Cantonese dish. You can make a good taste even if you have no cooking skills.


1 lettuce
Three cloved garlic
20 ml soy sauce
30 ml oyster sauce
1g five spice powder
10g raw powder
2 teaspoons water
15 ml vegetable oil


Step 1
Prepare raw materials and seasonings

Break the lettuce leaf by leaf, wash and drain

Step 3
Mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, five spice powder, raw powder and 2 tbsp cold water. Beat garlic cloves

Step 4
Put enough water into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, add lettuce, soften and remove immediately (about 10 seconds), remove lettuce, drain water and set it on a plate

Step 5
In another oil pan, saute the garlic cloves until fragrant, then add the mixed seasoning and cook until bubbling

Pour the sauce of oyster sauce on the lettuce
