I haven’t been to Chengdu for a long time. I miss its taste! I used to eat salivated chicken once on the street in Chengdu. After I got home, I tried it many times and finally succeeded. Every time I do it, my husband and daughter will eat everything, very satisfied!

Ingredients

Four chicken legs
Four chili peppers
Five slices of ginger
A spoonful of vinegar
Four chives
A handful of Chinese prickly ash
Four dried peppers
Ten peanuts (fried)
Two teaspoons of delicious soy sauce
A spoonful of sugar
Half a teaspoon of salt
Half head garlic

Directions

Step 1
Put chicken leg in a cold water pot, add ginger, scallion and seasoning, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for about 15 minutes

Step 2
After cooking, remove the cold water and tear it into small pieces by hand.

Cut chives and chili peppers and set aside

Step 4
In a small bowl, put two tablespoons of delicious soy sauce, one teaspoon of sugar, one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of vinegar, some monosodium glutamate, garlic and ginger, and then pour them on the torn chicken.

Step 5
Place chives, peanuts, capsicum, dried capsicum and Chinese prickly ash on the chicken.

Step 6
Finally, the most important thing is to pour hot oil. When the hot oil is poured, a fragrance will come to your nose, which will make your mouth water.
