1 sliced yellow onion
4 cloves sliced garlic
2 rims EVOO
1 can crushed tomatoes (regular size)
1 can tomato puree
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 can water
2 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 bunch fresh basil (chopped)
1 box Whole Wheat pasta
1 lb. ground turkey
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 small yellow onion minced
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
Fresh Parsley


Step 1
Make gravy first.

Step 2
Cook all gravy ingredients over medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3
Preheat oven to 400.

Step 4
Form meatballs out of meatball ingredients. Spray aluminum foil with nonstick spray. Cook 15 minutes. Turn. Cook another 15 minutes.

Step 5
When meatballs are done, put them in the gravy and cook another 30 minutes on medium/low heat. (If you want to add chicken sausage, add it raw at this time with the meatballs.) Get your pasta started.

Step 6
Add fresh chopped basil in the last 10 minutes of cooking.
