Green peppers are the most homely ingredients. I have loved sweet and sour green peppers made by my mother since I was a child. Although there is no meat, it feels better than meat. I can eat an extra bowl of rice every time. It is definitely a food artifact that I can’t get tired of!


8 green peppers
Appropriate amount of minced garlic
20ml soy sauce
3 tablespoons sugar
20ml aged vinegar
Proper amount of salt
A little chicken essence
Proper amount of water starch


Step 1
Remove the seeds of green pepper, wash and cut in half.

Step 2
Add oil and heat in the pot, add green pepper and fry until the skin is yellowish.

Step 3
Add soy sauce and sugar

Step 4
Add an appropriate amount of aged vinegar and water

Step 5
Add minced garlic

Step 6
Cover and medium heat for 15 minutes

Step 7
Finally, add a little salt chicken essence, pour in water starch and thicken out of the pot.
