In summer, my family likes to eat all kinds of cold dishes. Today, I recommend a refreshing cold dish – raw vegetable melon! The method is very simple. You can eat it as soon as you mix it without frying or cooking. It’s especially crisp. It’s especially good with porridge and rice.


2 vegetable melons
4 slices of ginger
3 cloves garlic
Six millet peppers
5 shallots
1 tablespoon salt
4 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons pepper oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon oil sprinkled with chili


Step 1
Prepare ingredients: vegetable melon, ginger, garlic, spicy millet and shallot;

Step 2
Wash the melon, cut it in half, dig out the pulp, and then cut it into silk;

Step 3
Add salt to the melon, stir well, marinate for a moment, and squeeze out the salt water;

Step 4
Chop ginger, garlic, millet and shallot respectively;

Step 5
Transfer the shredded vegetable and melon into the oil and pour pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and pepper oil;

Then add minced ginger, minced garlic, spicy millet and scallion;

Step 7
Stir well, and the [raw vegetable melon] is ready.
