Wonton noodles is one of the special dishes in Hong Kong and an indispensable part of Hong Kong’s food culture. Wonton is wonton, the earliest wonton is made of minced pork, so it is called “pure meat wonton”. Nowadays, with the improvement of living standards, most of the wonton noodles we usually eat are made of fresh shrimp.


200g pork stuffing
100g wonton skin
300g Yangchun noodles
200g shrimp
1 spoonful of soy sauce
1 teaspoon cooking wine
2 g salt
1 g white pepper
5g garlic flower
1000 ml old soup
1g ginger powder
3 tbsp shrimp oil
30g chopped green onion


Step 1
Add white pepper, salt, ginger, cooking wine and soy sauce to the pork stuffing

Step 2
Half of the shrimps are cut into minced shrimps and the other half is reserved

Step 3
Mix the minced shrimps into the minced meat, then add 2 tbsp of shrimp oil. Mix the shrimps and scallions together for 10 minutes

Wrap the wonton well and cook a pot of boiling water to prepare the wonton and noodles

Put boiling water into the pot. When the water boils again, boil it for about 30 seconds

Put it in the old soup

Sprinkle with garlic, add a green vegetable, shrimp and 1 tbsp shrimp oil to serve
