In August, I went to Xiamen to eat this dish. When I got home, I kept thinking about it and made it myself.


1 duck
2 large pieces of ginger
3 tablespoons raw soy sauce
5 rock candy
2 tablespoons salt
8 Astragalus membranaceus
3-lobed octagonal
1 Chinese wolfberry
1 small bowl of Guangdong Rice Wine
20G sesame oil
Proper amount of water


Step 1
Cut two large pieces of ginger into large pieces, pour sesame oil into the pot and stir fry ginger slices

Step 2
Then add the duck pieces, fry the duck oil, add rice wine and raw soy sauce, and stir fry

Step 3
Add a lot of water to stew. I also added some Astragalus to replenish qi, and then put a few rock sugar

Step 4
Stew for 1 hour. The duck is soft and rotten. Season with salt. Sprinkle a handful of medlar before coming out of the pot
