In the hot summer, it’s the season to eat balsam pear again. Boiling soup and brewing meat are my love. Balsam pear stuffed with meat, steamed or fried, is very good. This time, I didn’t bother to fry by the stove, so I used an electric cake pan to fry. Ha ha, it’s very convenient!

250g balsam pear
100g pork stuffing
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon raw soy sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 teaspoon cornmeal

Step 1
Wash balsam pear and cut it into thick sections

Step 2
Turn the knife around the inside and remove the gourd ladle

Step 3
Put it into boiling water with oil and salt and scald it

Step 4
Remove and flush cold water

Step 5
The scalded balsam pear ring is dried with kitchen paper and coated with a layer of raw flour to better bond with the meat filling

Step 6
Add salt, flour, soy sauce and a little water to the meat stuffing, stir with chopsticks in the same direction until it starts to gel, and then stuff the meat stuffing into the balsam pear circle

Step 7
Preheat the electric cake pan, put the stuffed balsam pear in, close the lid and fry for 5 minutes

Step 8
Turn over and fry for 3 ~ 5 minutes
