Preserved egg and lean meat porridge is a famous traditional dish of Han nationality in Guangdong Province. Preserved egg and lean meat porridge is made with preserved egg and salty lean meat cut into small pieces. Different regions have different ingredients. Some people will add sesame oil and scallion before eating. Others will add scallion or crispy.


100g rice
30g lean meat
30g preserved egg
5g salt
3 G ginger
3 G chicken essence
2 ml vegetable oil

Taojing rice, sliced preserved egg, minced lean meat and ginger

Pour the rice, lean meat and ginger into the pressure cooker, add salt, a little vegetable oil, add the water for porridge, cover and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down and press for 20 minutes

After the pressure cooker is deflated, add preserved eggs and boil chicken essence for another five minutes
