Sanbei chicken is a famous traditional dish of Han nationality in Jiangxi Province. It belongs to Yuanzhou cuisine of Jiangxi cuisine. It is said to be related to the national hero Wen Tianxiang. It is named Sanbei chicken because it only uses a cup of rice wine, a cup of lard and a cup of soy sauce. This dish is red in color, original, mellow and attractive. It is suitable for both wine and rice.


500g chicken leg
10g nine storey tower
10g soy sauce
10g sesame oil
1 pepper
9 crystal sugar
20G rice wine
5 slices of ginger
10 cloves garlic
2 tbsp vegetable oil


Step 1
Cut the drumstick into 3cm cubes, boil water in the pot, pour cold water into the drumstick, change color and take it out

Heat the pot, pour in about 10ml oil (about 2 tbsp oil), pour in ginger slices, stir fry until slightly burnt, then pour in garlic and pepper, and continue to stir fry until fragrant

Pour in the boiled chicken leg and stir fry over high heat

Pour in rock sugar, soy sauce and rice wine in turn; Stir fry and color evenly, and collect the juice over high fire. Cover the pot for about 4 minutes

Put a pot on another gas stove and heat it. After the pot is hot, pour sesame oil

Pour the cooked chicken leg meat into the pot, put it into the nine layer tower, cover the pot, continue to simmer for 10 minutes, open the cover and serve
