I love seafood and swordfish is my absolute favorite. This recipe is inspired by many wonderful Italian ingredients and goes well next to a simple salad, along with a nice glass of white wine.


4 Swordfish steaks
1 lemon, juiced
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
3-4 basil leaves, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon Flat leaf Italian parsley, chopped
1 lemon, thinly sliced


Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 360 degrees\r\n

Step 2
While the over is pre-heating, place the washed swordfish steaks in an oven-proof baking dish, such as a Pyrex baking pan\r\n

Step 3
In a small bowl mix well the juice of one lemon, the olive oil, oregano, salt, garlic, basil and parsley. \r\n

Step 4
Top the swordfish with the lemon/olive oil mixture, making sure the fish is very well covered with the seasonings\r\n\r\n

Step 5
Top the steaks with a few lemon slices each\r\n

Step 6
Bake 20-25 minutes
