Braised Pork,Mao’s Family Style
It is said that this is a favorite dish of Chairman Mao. Chairman Mao believes that braised meat can replenish energy, restore physical strength and make people energetic. According to historical records, Chairman Mao said to guard Li Yinqiao when commanding the three major campaigns: “as long as you give me a braised meat every three days, I will have the energy to defeat the enemy.” It can be seen that the chairman loves braised meat.
Ingredients
750g streaky pork1 small piece of ginger
Half a bowl of red wine
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 shallots
5 cloves garlic
200g cabbage
50g rock sugar
Directions
Step 1
Wash large pieces of streaky pork and bring to a boil in a cold water pot. Cook for about 10 minutes. Remove the blood foam until half cooked
