It’s a necessary new year dish for every family in our hometown. Although it’s a bit troublesome, it’s really delicious. It’s definitely a hard dish.
Two catties of streaky pork
A sweet potato
Proper amount of soy sauce
1 piece of nanru
2 tsp sugar
Half a packet of five spice powder
Appropriate amount of water
Appropriate amount of garlic sprouts
Step 1Prepare nanru and wuxiangfen. Half a packet of five spice powder is enough.
Step 2Peel a large taro and set aside.
Step 3Wash pork with skin and cut into large pieces.
Step 4Blanch the pork in cold water and bring it to a boil.
Step 5Prepare a pot of hot water, put in the pork and cover it. Cook over medium heat until the meat is soft. Just insert it with chopsticks.
Step 6Prepare a pot of oil and fry the sliced taro in the oil until the surface hardens.
Step 7After frying the taro, pour out the oil, leave a little bit in the pot, then put the meat into the pot, cover the pot, and then open the medium heat to fry slowly, so as to avoid oil splashing out.
Step 8While frying, move the position of the pot to prevent the middle part of the meat from scorching, or turn off the fire, open the lid of the pot, move the position of the meat and fire again five minutes later.
Step 9Fry until the surface is brown, then turn off the heat.
Step 10Slice the meat and set aside.
Step 11Prepare the seasoning（ There's no white sugar. Here's two spoonfuls of white sugar.)
Step 12Add the appropriate amount of water and stir. The amount of water should be added to the meat and taro. Finally, the sauce must be enough to soak the meat.
Step 13Stir fry the garlic sprouts until fragrant, put down the meat, pour in the seasoning juice, stir fry evenly and turn off the heat. For the first time, remember to try the taste of the sauce. If it's not enough, add it.
Step 14Put a piece of taro and a piece of meat together and arrange.
Step 15Pour the seasoning juice on the steamer and steam for about an hour until the pork is soft.
