It’s a necessary new year dish for every family in our hometown. Although it’s a bit troublesome, it’s really delicious. It’s definitely a hard dish.


Two catties of streaky pork
A sweet potato
Proper amount of soy sauce
1 piece of nanru
2 tsp sugar

Step 1
Prepare nanru and wuxiangfen. Half a packet of five spice powder is enough.

Peel a large taro and set aside.

Wash pork with skin and cut into large pieces.

Blanch the pork in cold water and bring it to a boil.

Prepare a pot of hot water, put in the pork and cover it. Cook over medium heat until the meat is soft. Just insert it with chopsticks.
